If you’ve ever been clubbing in Shanghai, you’ve probably come across a fierce blonde during her late-night extended sets, keeping everyone from going home. Lina has been drawn to electronic music from an early age, attending the legendary Kazantip festival in her teens and curating a tasteful record collection. This shaped her eclectic sound, and her energy behind the decks is unstoppable. Her sets can be characterized by trippy and groovy techno, with a twist of breakbeat, electro, and Detroit sounds. She doesn’t limit herself to one style, often incorporating house vocals and minimalistic sequences.
Taking care of her club night Techno Train for 10 years, her current project Techno Is A Woman, and numerous booking requests put Lina among many international and local artists. With a DJ career spanning more than a decade, she has played at the all venues across China. In 2023, she expanded into the European scene, performing in countries including Moldova, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, and Austria. In 2024, she made her debut at HÖR BERLIN.
Whether it’s a lounge or a chillout zone, a groovy warmup or a breaky acid sound, a banging techno set, or an emotional closing in the break of dawn, there’s no dance floor Lina K cannot tangle.
