Hailing from Tokyo, Qmico began DJing in 2011.
With a focus on techno and a versatile style that transcends genres, she navigates
between minimal, experimental, leftfield, and deep house, captivating audiences at
various techno and electronic music outdoor festivals such as rural and
Paramount, as well as clubs across Japan. She’s played the supporting role for
many international acts including Peter Van Hoesen, Voiski, and Anthony Linell,
steadily solidifying her presence in the scene.
Her pursuit of immersive soundscapes, rich with both a sense of floatation and
speed imbued with narrative, seamlessly harmonizes with the atmosphere of each
venue, creating an organic psychedelic space.
