Yrsen is a techno DJ and producer from Lille. Drawing inspiration from the
Portuguese, Spanish and South American scenes, it’s through his modular synths
and other machines that he shapes the deep, hypnotic Sci-Fi sounds that
characterize him. Whether broken or linear, his intensely textured techno blends
polyrhythms and clinical, incisive drums for an uncompromising mental trip.
His notable releases on Soma, Edit Select, ARTS, Room Trax, ANAØH, Subsist
Records, to name a few have become staples in the sets of revered names within
the techno scene, being played on high-demand dancefloors from Berlins local scene, the hours spent playing All night long have
sharpened his understanding of the audience and shaped a surgical mix technique,
which testifies to his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of techno
exploration.
